2026 Pheasant Hunt

Pheasant season calls for a little friendly competition! Gather a team of up to four hunters and join Redwood County Pheasants Forever on Saturday, December 5, 2026, for a day in the field and a chance to bring home cash prizes.
Event Details
- Hunt begins: 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 5.
- Final check-in: All birds must be on-site at the Lamberton American Legion by 6:00 p.m.
- Awards: Cash prizes and bragging rights will be awarded after check-in.
- Bird cleaning: Available at check-in, provided by the Lamberton Sons of the American Legion.

Rules
- Teams may include up to four hunters.
- Each team may check in up to four roosters.
- Pheasants Forever officials will measure and total the length of each bird’s longest tail feather.
- Tail feathers must be plucked by an official at check-in.
- All Minnesota DNR hunting regulations apply. Please hunt responsibly and practice good sportsmanship.
Prizes
Bring your birds to check-in and see how your team measures up! Cash prizes will be awarded following the 6:00 p.m. check-in at the Lamberton American Legion.
