About The Greater Good Award Nomination
Each year, the Redwood Area Chamber holds a Gala fundraiser as their largest fundraiser of the year to raise funds for the business development and community events they hold. At each Gala, Chamber awards are presented to deserving individuals and organizations. Those who receive these awards are selected from a list of people and organizations that were nominated from the community.
The Greater Good Award is intended to give recognition to a nonprofit organization who pledges their organizations time, talents and resources to our community in such a way that the entire community benefits. This visionary award will be presented by the Redwood Area Chamber & Tourism at the Annual Gala on February 3, 2024 to an area nonprofit organization (that is not required to be a chamber member business).
The Redwood Area Chamber Gala
The 27th Redwood Area Chamber Gala is anticipated to welcome nearly 300 people for their annual meeting and dinner at the Dacotah Exposition Center at Jackpot Junction Casino Hotel. At the Gala, attendees will enjoy a four course meal, entertainment by the Redwood Valley High School Jazz Band, silent and live auctions and visit with other community members from throughout Redwood County.
