In Redwood County, conservation isn’t just about the land; it’s about the people who walk it. It’s about the next generation of hunters, the preservation of our local habitat, and the community that makes it all possible.
On Saturday, March 21, 2026, we’re heading back to the Redwood Area Community Center Ice Arena for our favorite night of the year: The Redwood County Pheasants Forever Annual Banquet.
Whether you’re a lifelong member or a first-time attendee, here is why you won’t want to miss this year’s event.
Why Attend the Pheasants Forever Banquet?
The banquet is our primary engine for local impact. When you buy a ticket, you aren’t just paying for a meal—you are investing in your own backyard.
- Nearly 100% Local Impact: While national membership fees go to the parent organization, all other dollars raised by our chapter stay right here. These funds power local projects like the recent 234-acre expansion of the Coal Mine Creek WMA, youth trap team sponsorships, and pollinator habitat outreach.
- Support the Next Generation: Your attendance directly fuels our Youth & New Shooter programs. We believe in building lifelong skills and fostering a connection to the outdoors for Redwood County’s youth.
- Community Connection: It’s a night to gather with friends, farmers, landowners, and conservation enthusiasts who share a passion for Minnesota’s outdoor heritage. (And yes, there will be free beer and root beer while supplies last!)
A Night of Games, Guns, and Giveaways
We know you’re there for the mission, but we make sure you have a world-class time doing it. The 2026 banquet will be packed with the high-energy games and raffles our chapter is known for:
- The Famous Gun Raffles: Historically, we’ve given away over 50 guns in a single night! From the Pre-Banquet Gun Raffle to the "Early Bird" drawings, there are dozens of chances to take home a new firearm, and many other great prizes.
- Live & Silent Auctions: Bid on unique items ranging from guided pheasant hunts and outdoor gear to custom local art and "meat packages" from our local partners.
- Games for All Ages: We pride ourselves on being a family-friendly event. From the "Rooster Booster" awards to youth-specific activities, there’s something for everyone.
